Greenwoods Spa wedding photography
I met Stasi & Paul at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa to discuss the big day with a coffee. Both wanted natural, non staged photography from their Greenwoods spa wedding photographer so I fitted the bill perfectly.
The day started with Stasi inviting me to the bridal room to meet her friends. This is always a great opportunity to capture candid moments with family and friends. It is also a great way for your guests to become comfortable around me which results in more natural photos.
A small number of guests were present for the ceremony which was very intimate. After the ceremony, we had a quick 10 minute group shot opportunity with family and friends. The guys just wanted more coverage spent on natural, candid moments so this was ideal for me.
I love seeing couples mingling with their guests and this wedding was clear evidence of love between family and friends. It really was an honour to be picked to document for such a lovely couple so the photos speak for themselves.
Being firework weekend, this was a great excuse for a sparkler shot. After a quick round up, we captured a great tunnel shot of Stasi and Paul. The ambient light from the sparklers was essential as this was my main light source. Shooting a wedding at Greenwoods Spa also offers some impressive street lights. This makes for some beautiful portraits.
The night ended with every single guest on the dance floor so this was a perfect opportunity for action shots. It was amazing to see so much love all packed into one room.
Thank you Stasi and Paul for inviting me along to your Greenwoods spa wedding. All the best guys.
