Cornish Tipi Weddings Photography
My first Cornish Tipi Weddings with the lovely Katy and Scott. This was an incredible day for so many reasons which still makes me smile. I invited Katy and Scott to my home where we had a good chat about the day. It was brilliant to hear their vision and I could not wait to be a part of it all. I then met the guys at Cornish Tipi Weddings for a relaxed pre-shoot which helped them both see how I work. Seeing the venue was a huge benefit for myself so I could already picture frames for the day.
A small, intimate wedding with approximately 35 guests was perfect for this venue and the couple. Surrounded by trees, the happy couple enjoyed the ceremony followed by drinks and canapés. Katy and Scott then enjoyed some time alone next to the lake. Something that makes Cornish Tipi Weddings so unique and wonderful. The guys then boarded a small boat which of course led to some stunning photos on the lake.
A BBQ was then on offer for us all which went down like a treat. After filling a big hole, Katy, Scott and myself jumped into my car for a quick 10 minute trip to Port Isaac. We really wanted to capture some coast shots so used the spare time we had before the first dance. It was so peaceful and such a pleasure to document for Katy and Scott.
The night ended with all the guests enjoying glasses of wine and pints of Cornish larger next to a burning flame. A fitting way to end your Cornish Tipi Wedding.
