What a crazy year this has been. My first year as a full time wedding photographer which also included so many other highlights. I shot over 35 weddings including a destination wedding in Ibiza. I shot 3 weddings in Cornwall, Devon and took a trip up North to shoot a Leicester-shire wedding. My little girl turned 1 and still manages to amaze me each day with her antics. The Wife Natalie became a full time VA which has taken off extremely well and I am so proud of her. So yeah, this has been one crazy year but I have loved every minute of it.
This is my first ever best of blog so I was really struggling on what images to post before I remembered what I love about weddings. Real moments. These are the moments that make me smile when I look at them or even a bit emotional. I live for fun times with family and friends which you will most certainly see in this blog. The dance floor will appear often which is no coincidence as I like to stay well after the first dance. I also love emotional moments like tears from Father’s which happens often in speeches.
I live for the real moments on a wedding day, moments that are created over 23-30 years. A wedding will showcase so much love in one day which is the main reason why I love it. The fact I get to witness all of this is a complete honour.
I now move on to 2020 with another destination wedding booked in for Portugal which I am taking the family along for a well earned break. But for now, I hope you enjoy these set of images from my best of 2019 blog. Bring on 2020!
