Before I get into this blog, let’s be honest. A 35 year old man, who has a family finds it very rare to go OUT OUT these days. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good ol’ sesh with a kebab waiting for me at the end of the night. But the hangovers are getting much harder to shake off now. Sitting in watching films with a coffee is more my style in 2023.
So, when Penny asked me to be her wedding photographer at Channels for NYE 2022 I jumped at the chance. Of course, I could have just stayed in but I felt another chance to document a wedding on NYE would be very rare. I knew the dance floor would be bang on point which will always be my favourite part.
What an amazing wedding this was. Rain was scheduled for the whole day, but it honestly did not matter. The buzz of a wedding day combined with a NYE party is enough for people to enjoy. Luckily, we had a 10 minute window in the evening to capture some couple photos. I still feel very fortunate this happened. The night photos were stunning as you will see below and I know both Penny + Michael enjoyed some time away from the party. A much needed break as the party did not finish until 2am!
