Copdock Hall Barn Wedding Photographer
The final wedding of 2025 and what a bloody way to sign off. This was my first time at Copdock hall barn and as a documentary wedding photographer the venue is perfect. After just returning back to the UK from America shooting a wedding, it was straight back to work. In an ideal world, you would like a few days rest to get over the jet lag. But the wedding industry does not work like that. 2025 threw a good 3 double headers at me so you just have to roll with it. In a way, it helps to keep your creative levels high before getting too comfortable and going into relax mode.
I first met Lauren a few years back when she was a bridesmaid at another wedding I documented. You can see the blog here for that one if you fancy a read. But back to the wedding, it is always the best feeling when you get booked from a referral. Especially when Lauren in this case was at the wedding from before. That was a key factor when booking me the fact that Lauren got to spend the day with me and felt comfortable. If you have a look at my Google reviews you will see a very common subject is how my clients felt like they had a friend documenting the day. This means everything to me.
As always, I was present until the very end of the night. I almost stopped doing this a few years back but I do not feel like I have achieved everything if I leave after first dance. There is always so much more to show and an excellent film has to have a strong ending.
