Elements Bude Wedding Photographer
The end of September and the crazy wedding season is almost over. Currently, 5 wedding are in my diary for 2024 which is a nice way to start winding down. Thousands of miles covered, including 3 flights to USA, Cyprus and Zante so it was lovely to shoot this wedding just a 10 min walk from home. Jess & Sam celebrated their special day at Elements Bude restaurant where I was fortunate enough to be their wedding photographer. Also know as The Beach at Bude to locals this venue overlooks Summerleaze Beach. I spend many days here, with a pint and bag of nuts just enjoying the scenery and sounds. I still have to pinch myself that this is now home!
The day started at Bude Methodist Church which will always bring back good memories for me. When we first moved here, my little boy Cash was born and this location was used for baby sensory classes. It is one of the beautiful things when living in a small town having that warm community feel. This warm community vibe was present when Jess arrived at the church. So many local people watched from a distance with huge smiles.
A short walk back to Elements for the reception with beautiful sunshine that was consistent. Amazing food and great company with some emotional speeches added to this already superb wedding. For myself, I then enjoyed a short walk back home along the downs enjoying the Cornish sunset. With such a busy year, this was the perfect way to end my 2024 summer season.
