Frinton-on-Sea Wedding Photographer
Charlie and Mark’s wedding was a true reflection of their personalities—fun, quirky, and full of energy. As a Frinton-on-Sea wedding photographer, I was thrilled to capture a day that was as unique as the couple themselves. The official ceremony took place at Frinton-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club. It was brief—just 10–15 minutes—as Charlie and Mark were already legally married. They wanted their friends and family to witness the moment, so they arranged for a friend to act as registrar. Even in such a short space of time, the love and excitement were palpable. After the ceremony, all the guests were transported to the reception in true Essex style: a classic red double-decker London/Essex bus. It was a fun, nostalgic touch that perfectly suited the couple’s playful vibe. The reception was held at Mark’s parents’ stunning home in Frinton-on-Sea. The family’s DIY approach transformed the space into a personal and quirky setting that reflected Charlie and Mark’s personalities perfectly.
Music, Dancing, and Ibiza Vibes
The evening was an absolute highlight. Dean Scott, the talented DJ, kept the dance floor alive with clubbing, garage, and British anthems—think Craig David and So Solid Crew. Adding a completely unique twist, Naomi Wilmshurst played the violin to club music, complete with a light-up violin that looked spectacular in the evening light. Their story—from meeting on a holiday in Ibiza to celebrating with Ministry of Sound-inspired tunes—made the night truly personal and unforgettable. Everyone looked incredible. The men were impeccably dressed, and the ladies were radiant—a true testament to the classic Essex style. Hair was styled by Love Hair by Ellie, makeup by Harley Bird MUA, and the wedding bouquet was from Fluette Frinton. A large tent from Coast Toko’s Teepees provided a perfect space for guests to mingle and dance. Catering and dry bar hire were handled by Bar Brothers Events, keeping the party fueled all night long.
A Wedding Full of Personality
What made this day stand out wasn’t just the music or the decor—it was the energy, the laughter, and the couple’s clear personality in every detail. From the quick ceremony to the red double-decker bus, the quirky DIY touches, and the unforgettable club-inspired evening, it was a wedding that will live long in the memories of everyone who attended.
As a Frinton-on-Sea wedding photographer, capturing days like Charlie and Mark’s is what makes this job so special. Every smile, every dance move, and every playful moment tells the story of a couple who truly celebrated their way.
