Glebe House Cottages Wedding Photographer
Something very rare for me these days and that is shooting a wedding that is 15 minutes away. Of course, I do not moan about this and it is something that I wanted. I never wanted to be at the same venues week in week out. But more importantly, I wanted to go wherever a couple wanted me and my documentary style of photography. So luckily for me, Kat & Sam booked me as their Glebe House Cottages wedding photographer after researching reportage photographers. Even more luck the venue is just down the road from myself in Bude Cornwall.
What an amazing day with lots of South West Country folk. It still makes me laugh when I turn up at a wedding and people are asking the couple “he doesn’t sound Cornish, he sounds like he is from London”. Eventually, they all get used to my accent and can understand me, I think. But I always say the language barrier does not matter one bit. It is all about observing people and documenting them moments.
Kat & Sam are the loveliest people I could have wished to work with. They made me feel so welcome from start to finish and even gifted me with treats and a Guinness. I think my instagram stories are 80% of me drinking Guinness. As they only live an hour away from me and my family, I can see us staying in touch and meeting up for dinner in the future. The bonus of this job is making new friends like this.
