House Of Chaplin Photography
They say that everything happens for a reason in life and this could be a perfect example of it. The story actually begins with the need for toilet paper (stay with me as this does sound odd). I had just moved to Bude and of course the dreaded unloading phase begun. A freezing, wet January morning of unloading a van all the way from Essex I soon realised we had no toilet paper. A short walk to the local Sainsbury’s in Bude, I then noticed House Of Chaplin (after purchasing the essential bog roll of course).
It’s rustic design and the sign ‘dog friendly bagel lovin coffee geeks’ at the front of shop caught my eye. I knew this would be a place to visit and luckily enough we have become very good friends with Sara + Chris.
Helping small business is amazing especially when they are your friends. This is a huge bonus. So supplying food photography snaps for House Of Chaplin was really important for me. The photos are now being used for social media and marketing which is so important. I even got to taste some of the new Mexican dishes and a few beers so everyone wins.
So, the purpose of this little blog is 2 things. No matter where you are in your photography business, if the opportunity arises to help a business, jump at the chance. Professional photos can really help any company to succed their goals. Secondly, never forget toilet paper!
