King Arthur Wedding Photographer
My first wedding in Wales and it did not disappoint. Cath & Tom booked me as their wedding photographer at the King Arthur hotel back in 2024. I was actually in New York at the time shooting my first USA wedding when I got the news. Cath had messaged me through instagram after a referral from Che Birch (another wedding photographer). We have never actually met yet but it seems like this year will be the year.
The King Arthur hotel, is a cosy Welsh pub located at the heart of village life in Reynoldston on the beautiful Gower peninsula. Now, I am not just saying this but it really is a perfect pub. If you love open fires, wooden decor with a great selection of ales this really is for you. Just picture a cold walk with your dog then popping in for a pint to finish off.
Ok, to the wedding. This was my kind of wedding and I could see that from the very start. A good 100 guests and I can honestly say 80% of them were drinking Guinness. Now, I love Guinness but it has to be perfection which can only be achieved by the pub. I had a couple of pints and can say they were perfect pints of Guinness. So I can see why most of the wedding guests were on the black stuff.
The dance floor was crazy. From start to finish it stayed fully packed which even though it made it hard to move it really did create so many wonderful frames. With a packed dance floor, you just need to stay in the middle and go for it. Also make sure your cameras and lenses are insured! Especially a wedding full of drunk Welsh lasses and lads dancing until 1am.
