Lambeth Town Hall Wedding Photography
Sometimes, the best weddings are the ones that happen completely on the spur of the moment. Chloe and Joe booked their wedding photography supplier at Lambeth Town Hall just three weeks before their wedding—yep, three weeks! It’s wild, but I’m starting to think more couples are embracing that last-minute vibe. They just decide, “Let’s get married,” and go for it. I love that. Their wedding was at Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton—a classic London venue that’s perfect for small, intimate weddings. There were only about 20 people there, so it was very relaxed. I didn’t do any bridal prep that morning; I just jumped on the train from Exeter to St. David’s, which is surprisingly easy even from Cornwall. Just two and a half hours and you’re in London Paddington—perfect for a last-minute London wedding.
Once I arrived, I met Chloe and Joe at the venue and got straight to documenting them, their friends, and the joyful little moments. After the ceremony, we went for a walk around Brixton for some photos. One of the highlights? Chloe and Joe wanted to recreate an album cover from the band The Idols—just them sitting outside Herne Hill station eating ice cream. Quirky, fun, and very London, I loved it. To make it even more London, we jumped into a classic Black Cab to get there, which definitely added some character to the shoot.
After that, the couple headed off to dinner at Half Moon in Herne Hill, and I had my final shot of them at the station before heading back home. I had about two hours before my train, so I treated myself to a ridiculously stuffed chicken burrito—extra chicken, of course—which was the perfect fuel for the journey back to Cornwall. It’s the little things that make London trips fun!
Even though it was a tiny wedding, and organized at the last minute, it reminded me why I love Lambeth Town Hall wedding photography. It’s all about capturing the love, the laughter, and the real moments between people—no fuss, no stress, just a really memorable day.
Short, sweet, and totally London. Also, bonus: last-minute bookings can be just as fun as big, planned-out weddings—I might be a fan of these spontaneous city weddings! For couples based outside London, like Chloe and Joe, it’s proof that a small, intimate London wedding is not only possible, but incredibly fun and easy to organise.

What a beautiful wedding story! Chloe & Joe’s day looks so relaxed, joyful, and full of genuine moments. The photography captures the atmosphere perfectly, and I especially love the natural, candid approach throughout the gallery. Wishing them both a lifetime of happiness together!
