Leicestershire Wedding Photographer
After returning from Tunisia just 2 days before shooting a wedding, I then travelled up to Leicestershire for Lucy & George. This was my first time here since 2019 so it was really nice to visit again. Lucy & George booked me as their Leicestershire wedding photographer after seeing my photos from a wedding in Essex. It was actually Georges sister who was a bridesmaid at that wedding who very kindly recommended me. Even though the wedding was quite a distance from me, they loved my documentary style and really did not want any posing. So, all of us had the same vision which was ideal.
Present until the very end of the night, I got to witness Lucy & George perform their own DJ set. This was a first for me and it really got the dance floor going for lots of reasons. Firstly, I always say if the bride and groom are on the dance floor people will follow. Secondly, the guests probably would have never seen this before at a wedding so again it made them stay on the dance floor.
People book me for my documentary approach. They really do not want to be posed so when it comes to couple portraits it really is a quick 10 min session. But, even in that short time we capture so many lovely photos. This is why I always say you do not need an hour going off feeling uncomfortable. Lucy & George stressed this is what they wanted from the start and I could not agree more. Because of this, you get more time with your friends and family which results in more natural, real photos.
