London Micro Wedding Photographer
Four people.
That’s it.
Cait + Adam live in Canada but came over to London with two of their closest mates to get married at Lambeth Town Hall.
No huge guest list. No massive production.
Just four people having a bloody lovely time together.
Canada to Lambeth Town Hall
Small weddings like this are perfect for the way I work.
As a London micro wedding photographer, I’m there to document what’s actually happening rather than constantly trying to create something for the camera.
My approach is documentary, candid and completely unposed.
Basically, I’m a photojournalist following four mates around London on a pretty important day.
A Little Walk Around London
After the ceremony, Cait + Adam and I disappeared for a short walk together.
Nothing complicated.
No hour-long photoshoot or awkward posing. We walked, chatted and made some relaxed portraits before heading back to their mates.
That’s documentary wedding photography for me. Even the couple photos should still feel like part of the wedding rather than stopping it.
Later, another four friends joined them for dinner and that’s where I left everyone.
Eight people by dinner.
They’d doubled the wedding.
Being a London micro wedding photographer isn’t always about huge venues and packed dance floors.
Sometimes four people enjoying London together is more than enough.
