Polly and Tom’s wedding in the charming village of Marhamchurch, Bude, Cornwall, was full of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. As a Marhamchurch wedding photographer, capturing their candid, documentary-style day was an absolute pleasure.The couple wanted a relaxed, fun day with minimal posing. We did a short 5–10 minute couple session for some intimate shots, then it was all about friends, family, and celebration. I never take my couples away for too long. I want them to be with their family and friends.
Local suppliers added a personal touch to the day: hair by Clare Hartley, makeup by Charlotte Albert, flowers from BlueJen, dress alterations by Auriel Bridal, food from Electric Bakery, and drinks from The Barrel. The tent from Bristol Street Stretch Tents kept everyone dry when the evening rain arrived, and the evening pizza from Sourdough Delicious was the perfect treat. Ezmay Grace left the crowd speechless whilst singing beautifully during dinner. The best part, Ezmay is Polly’s sister! A very unique and special touch for a wedding if you ask me.
Entertainment was incredible. DJ Tom Barker got the party started, and the live band Jonah Hitchens—famous for Glastonbury—kept everyone dancing with their country-style renditions of pop classics. The dance floor was alive all night, full of joy and energy. Polly and Tom’s wedding was a perfect mix of local charm, thoughtful details, and genuine fun. Documenting this day was an absolute joy, and the memories will last a lifetime.
