Living in North Cornwall (biased as it sounds) really is the best place for myself and more importantly my family. Beaches, coastal paths, small businesses and a great community feel just to name a few things. But, it is the community that helps me shoot more and more weddings in a place I now call home. Being Donna & Helens Millook wedding photographer in Poundstock was down to word of mouth. In the short time being here this is something that I really appreciate and can’t thank people enough. To then shoot a local wedding surrounded by these beautiful beaches and coast paths is something else.
A small intimate wedding with around 30 people is perfect for my style of photography. When people want documentary wedding photography it is all about the people. No awkward smiles, no stiff posing and none of that cheesy rubbish. Just enjoy your day and let photos taken in a candid way tell your story.
It was lovely to see Donna & Helen looking so happy on the coast of North Cornwall. Blessed with gorgeous weather, the girls enjoyed every second with their family and friends. It is your wedding day so please just enjoy it with everyone. You only need 15 minutes for group photos which everyone can agree on is very boring. You want to be drinking, dancing and of course eating. So, don’t spend all day with formal photos.
