HELLO THERE..(I hope you are saying this out loud in your best Obi Wan voice)
I’m Gary. Gaz. Sometimes Gal. And, apparently, The GJ — a name my wife absolutely hates.
Getting on with your photographer matters just as much as liking their photos. We’re going to spend the whole day together, so we might as well have a laugh.
When we click, you’ll relax, forget about the camera and let me capture the real you.
So, here are a few things I love.

HOME & FAMILY
I was born and raised in Essex. In 2022, I made the jump with my family and moved to Bude Cornwall. Will I be considered Cornish in 40 years time?
I met my now wife, Natalie, at the infamous ‘Bas Vegas’ on a drunken night in Jumpin’ Jaks. Long story short, I gave her the eye across the dance floor, she loved it and a few date nights, music festivals and a Venice gondola engagement later and as they say, the rest is history.
We now share our life with our two children, our daughter Aurelia (named after the young lady in Love Actually) and our son, Cash (after the legend Johnny Cash himself). They are my life and everything I do is for them. I even branded myself with tattoos in their honour!

WEST HAM
I was cursed with supporting my beloved ‘ammers from the day I was born. Being born into a family from the East end of London, there was no choice for me.

PET LOVER
I’ve got two dogs, a cat and a tenrec. Yep, a tenrec. Because apparently two dogs and a cat weren’t enough.
Bobby and Moxley, our Golden Retriever and German Shepherd, are my walking companions. Nothing beats getting outdoors with my best mates and enjoying the simple things together.
They mean the world to me.

MUSIC
I love indie, rock ’n’ roll, ’80s music and a good film score.
Hans Zimmer gets a lot of airtime in our house and makes editing far more dramatic than it needs to be. Gladiator and Interstellar can still bring me to tears.
And The Beatles? They bloody rock.

WRESTLING
I’ve loved wrestling since I was a kid and, despite being a grown man, I still bloody love it. No shame. It’s my guilty pleasure — and I’ll happily defend it!

CINEMA & GAMING
I watch A LOT of films. From The Godfather to La La Land, I’ll give almost anything a watch. I’m also a massive Disney fan — you’ll often find me singing Moana songs while out running. Poorly.
I’ve been gaming since Atari and Sega, and Sonic will always be my first true love.
