Porters Wine & Charcuterie Wedding Photographer
A first wedding for me in Southampton with the lovely Sarah + Gabe as their photographer at Porters Wine & Charcuterie. The industrial-chic restaurant offering an extensive wine list, plus gourmet meat & cheese boards. I have a good feeling I put on half a stone that night just from the cheese!
I started at The Pig In The Wall for bridal prep with Sarah and her family. A very intimate feel where The Pig In The Wall is perfect for a small bridal party. The church ceremony was only a 5 minute walk to St Michael’s witnessed by a good 60 people.
The evening reception took place at Porters Wine & Charcuterie for a very informal event. This was something that was really important for Sarah + Gabe when they first discussed their wedding with me. So of course, with my documentary approach to weddings it was perfect for everyone. The food was spot on with a table full of meats, olives and cheeses which went down like a treat with a pint of beer.
Considering this was a wedding way out of my area I was shocked when The Gallivants Band rocked up. An acoustic roaming band who are based in London who I last worked with in Essex. These lads are amazing so I highly recommend looking into them for your wedding or any event to be honest. With a packed dance floor we all enjoyed the night with plenty of shots, excellent wine and of course, cheese!
