The Yard Hampshire Wedding Photographer
What a bloody day with Amie & Nick at The Yard Hampshire wedding venue. Even though that same night I was flying out to Tunisia for a job it was so worth it. Besides the traveling, this day was perfect and I am so happy I got to spend it with all these people. This is what documentary wedding photography is all about. Just letting people be people without the need to pose and because of this you gain beautiful, natural photos. Amie and Nick could see this from that start. Hence why they hired me as their wedding photographer at The Yard Hampshire.
The day started at the clock tower cottage which is just a short 5 minute drive from The Yard. This was the location for bridal prep and something I always recommend having documented. First of all, it helps open the gallery to tell the story which is a bonus for everyone. Secondly, and actually the most important part, it helps you become comfortable with my presence. As a documentary wedding photographer, I just want you to enjoy the day and be happy with a 6’2 man being close by. As a result, you gain the very best raw, candid moments of a wedding day.
The reception was incredible where The Yard have a halfpipe! Yes, a halfpipe on the dance floor which I am sure you will also think is amazing. Amie, Nick and their closest family and friends enjoyed the night with endless dancing and lots of shots. Thank you for letting me be your documentary wedding photographer I will be forever grateful.
