Wickford Wedding Photography
Steph + Carl’s festival themed wedding in the back garden of Stephs Dad. I love festival themed weddings but the extra personality of this wedding made it one of my favourites for 2022. The photography for bridal prep started at Stephs Dads house in Wickford so this was easily the shortest walk from bridal prep to the wedding! The garden consisted of a huge tipi, a bouncy castle, beer pong and a Mexican stand for a bowl of chilli. This would make for a superb 10pm energy hit for myself!
The day was just a joy. Watching so many family and friends hug, kiss and laugh with Steph + carl was a buzz to document. There really is nothing better in wedding photography to just let people be people and capture those moments that they can look back on in years to come.
The evening was bloody amazing due to the live music. I always tell my couples that I personally believe that live music makes the evening. Brothers from another cover played everything from the Beatles (personal favourite of mine) to Madness. This really got the people going and I couldn’t help but shout my lungs out to The Beatles medley.
I just love working with down to earth people who completely trust my documentary approach to weddings. Steph + Carl only wanted a small handful of group shots and a small window of couple time photos. The rest of the day was just them enjoying the stunning weather with plenty of drinks in hand. Thank you both so much for letting me be a part of your brilliant wedding.
